Campbell Baby

Kate's Great Grannie, Grandaddy, Grandma, and Daddy are all alumni of Campbell University-so Kate really is a Campbell baby, even though she is also my little Tarheel. Who knows-maybe she will be a fourth generation Campbell graduate?! That would make her Great Grannie very happy. Of course, as we were taking pictures, Max just had to be included.

The Zoo

We went to the zoo with Uncle Dan, Aunt Jennifer, and Scarlett in June. We had a great time. Both Kate and Scarlett were amazed by the animals. Kate's favorite animals were the chimps and the sea lions. She really likes to show off her animal noises and everyone's favorite is definitely the her elephant noise.

Kate and Scarlett love to be together. They had a lot of fun and learned some good lessons about sharing and taking turns. I have some great video footage of Jeff pulling Kate and Scarlett down the beach in Kate's wagon and Grandaddy catching them as they hit the water, but the video master is busy at the moment so I'll post it another time. Both girls loved the sand and each other.

Here are some "not quite professional, but cute anyway" pictures from our beach trip. Kate's favorite things to do were to dig with Daddy and eat snacks under the umbrella.
